Matt Reeves is the Republican running for open State Senate District 48. District 48 covers Duluth, Johns Creek, Suwanee, Peachtree Corners, Berkeley Lake and part of Lawrenceville.

Matt is a business and real estate litigation attorney and partner at Andersen, Tate & Carr, the largest full-service law firm in the district. He was House Judiciary Committee Chairman Wendell Willard’s legal counsel during the 2008 Georgia General Assembly, and served as House Education Chairman Brooks Coleman’s campaign manager. He is a past Rotary Club President, Gwinnett County Bar Association President, Duluth Business Association President, and serves on the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce board. He is endorsed by Gwinnett County Commission Chair Charlotte Nash, Mayors Nancy Harris, Mike Bodker, Jimmy Burnette and Mike Mason, Commissioner Jace Brooks, Representatives Brooks Coleman and Scott Hilton, and other leaders in the district.

Matt, his wife Suzette and three school-age children live in Duluth, and he graduated with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law and Mercer University. Matt’s Senate campaign is focused on reducing the state income tax, keeping Georgia #1 in job growth by remaining pro-business and strengthening education and traffic solutions, making Georgia a national leader in adoption and foster care, and reforming Fulton County local government through if necessary re-creating Milton County.
